This organic barley tea is made exclusively of organic barley grown by Kanazawa Daichi. Its characteristic sweet flavour is brought out by slow and careful hot air roast. The barley teas are infused in water for such a long time that organic is very much recommended to enjoy flavour, aroma and extract of the barley.
All organic barley teas have a soft and mild taste. They also have a pronounced flavour of grain, giving off the pleasant aroma of roasted barley.
The shape differs from each other. Kanazawa Daichi’s barley grains are large and solid. The quality of grain is determined by the size and more importantly by the density of grains. Large but hollow grains do not produce a rich taste of grain. The grains for the organic barley tea produced by Kanazawa Daichi are large, dense and uniform, which enables the barley grains to be evenly roasted and to produce a mellow taste.
